The Holidays are upon us and the Glacier Realty team is looking forward to many of our favorite things!
As residents of McHenry County, our community is a wonderful place to be, especially during this time of the year. With diverse communities offering their own special ways to celebrate the holidays, there is something for everyone.
These holiday favorites are only a short list of the incredible things there are to do this season throughout McHenry County. Our team was raised in McHenry County and have such fond memories of things we used to do when we were kids and the memories we’ve been able to create with our own families. Enjoy the Holiday Season attending some special events throughout the area.
In Richmond on Dec. 10th and 11th… Stroll the shops of beautiful downtown Richmond and enjoy hot cocoa and seasonal fun and activities all over town! This year’s events feature a sing-along with Santa and FREE photos with Santa both days! There will also be roaming carolers, a historic 1928 Popcorn Truck and a Living Nativity with real animals! Those with the Cocoa Card will enjoy a sip or sample of Cocoa at 9 different stops along Main Street! Card holders will also enjoy crafts, discounts and freebies all over Richmond!
Cocoa cards are only $2 each (cash only) and can be purchased at Anderson’s Candy Shop or Harper G Mercantile the day of the event. The Cocoa Walk runs from 10am to 4pm each day. Santa will host a Christmas song sing-a-long starting at 1pm each day and he will begin photos at approximately 1:45 pm. Please bring your own camera.
